What Guides Us

We believe sustainability is not a luxury or a label; it’s a shared

responsibility that should be rooted in community, creativity,

and care.

We’re guided by the idea that real change happens when people

feel connected to the systems they’re part of, when they can

measure their impact, tell their stories, and act with intention.

What Drives Us

We work with institutions, communities, and individuals to make sustainability more accessible, measurable, and meaningful.

Through audits, creative engagement, and collaborative tools, we help people understand where they stand, what’s at stake, and how to move forward, not with guilt, but with clarity, culture, and purpose

"Driving Climate Action" through Sustainable Solutions

How TERP Began: A Story of Curiosity, Frustration & Quiet Revolt

TERP didn’t start with a business plan. It began with a question: Why are we still discussing sustainability in such disconnected ways?

From the time of the pandemic, when the world slowed down and systems were forced to reveal their cracks, we kept circling back to the same frustration: there were too many initiatives that looked good on paper but felt hollow on the ground. Solar panels without people’s trust. Plastic bans without viable alternatives. Sustainability policies were written in rooms that excluded the communities they impacted most.

So we started small. First, with an LED bulb. Then a sustainability audit. Then, a dashboard that could actually speak to institutions. There was an open mic night that felt more like a climate conversation than a conference.

We realised sustainability doesn’t have to be heavy or out of reach. It could be playful. Local. Measurable. Human. And most of all, collective.

That’s how TERP was born: as a quiet rebellion against the abstract, and a commitment to making sustainability feel real, reachable, and rooted in community.

We don't promise silver bullets or grand fixes. What we offer is a framework, a language, and a space for people and institutions to understand what they’re already doing, where they’re falling short, and how to move forward with intention.

Because at TERP, if you want to change the world, you start by measuring what matters, talking to the people who live the change, and refusing to do it alone.

Milestones that shaped us:

  •  The LED bulb experiment: We began by replacing inefficient bulbs in several institutions and calculating the basic energy savings. It sparked a question: What if sustainability could be measurable, relatable, and replicable — not just idealistic?

  •  Our first Sustainability SWOT Analysis: We developed a framework to help organizations understand where they stood — their strengths, blind spots, risks, and potential. This tool became our foundation.

  •  Open mic nights and community circles: We hosted storytelling and art nights that brought sustainability into cafés and courtyards — a deliberate shift away from boardrooms and buzzwords.

  •  Piloting local alternatives to single-use products: We worked with makers and communities to source climate-conscious merchandise — from fabric bags to earth-friendly event kits.

  •  AAHAS — our sister NGO: AAHAS works alongside TERP as a community-rooted initiative focused on improving quality education and driving awareness campaigns. Together, we co-create cultural and educational programs that make sustainability accessible, inclusive, and grounded in local realities.
